Amanda ArmenterosAmanda is a born and raised New yorker! She began dancing at the age of 8 and hasn’t stopped since then! Studying at the Alvin Ailey school and attending Professional Performing Arts School helped her build her love for African based dance which has helped her to perform with Djoniba and Mfouambila dance companies all the way to an all female company named EVA in Saigon,Vietnam. Throughout her travels in SouthEast Asia Amanda was invited to perform in over three Latin Dance Festivals where she performed Samba, Afrobeats, and Traditional African dances. Sharing african dance in Asia was extremely important for Amanda because of her desire to spread black culture and awareness.
