Photography
This program inspires young people to “exercise their eye” with the camera.
In this 10-week introductory class, students will plan, analyze, and design compositions of photographs. Students will learn techniques that will enable them to capture the essence of the person, object, or environment they are photographing. They will learn how to use a DSLR camera and techniques that will enable them to use the camera to tell their story.
Cameras are provided through the SONY Create Action Grant. CREATE ACTION‘s mission is to amplify local organizations’ efforts through funding, storytelling, and collaboration with Sony.
