Students will examine and question the most effective way to tell stories in dramatic form while working collaboratively on creating a play together. Starting with the short dramatic or comic scene, we will expand towards writing a fuller work – either a one act or a full length. Through the study of the basic elements of theater (character, theatricality, dialogue, setting, images, actions and obstacles.) and a variety of examples, students will receive one option of a way in which plays are created. Using Kinesthetic learning, students will learn through their own writing and inspiring their peers in the process.
