This “Cooking Around the World” camp is for chefs ages 8-12, who have shown interest in cooking and who have had experience with chopping, peeling, measuring and helping with other kitchen tasks. During each day of camp, we will explore a specific region and cuisine and we will explore the culture and geography as well. The chefs will not need to provide a snack, as they will have 2 opportunities to taste what they made in class. They should bring a water bottle with them to stay hydrated.
You and your chef will receive:
*the recipes we prepared in camp
*an introduction to countries and the regions we “visit in camp”
*video and/or pictures of your chefs in action
We use natural, seasonal and organic ingredients whenever available, and do not use nut-based products, raw meat or shellfish. We focus on introducing the small chefs to new cuisines, tastes and the cultures representing the recipes they cook. Parents, please make sure that we are aware of any food allergies and texture avoiding issues that your children may have.

Sharon NDiaye is the owner/teacher of “Cooking with Kids” and she has taught hundreds of children in our community. She is passionate about multicultural education and cross-cultural understanding and is a self-proclaimed “foodie!”
With a background in restaurants, international cultural immersion programs and children’s education, “Cooking with Kids” is a natural combination of Sharon’s passions. Sharon loves hearing from parents whose children have learned more confidence in the kitchen and who have expanded their food options as a result of her class! “Cooking Around the World” classes have helped many children learn important life skills!
