“Cooking Around the World” classes are for chefs ages 4-9, who have shown interest in cooking and who would like to learn how to chop, peel, measure and to expand their skills with recipe preparation and basic kitchen tasks. During each class, we will explore a specific region and cuisine and we will explore the culture and geography as well. The chefs will have the opportunity to taste what they made in class. They should bring a water bottle with them to stay hydrated.
You and your chef will receive:
* the recipes we prepared in class
* an introduction to countries and the regions we “visit” in class
* video and/or pictures of your chefs in action
We use natural, seasonal and organic ingredients whenever available, and do not use nut-based products, raw meat or shellfish. We focus on introducing the small chefs to new cuisines, tastes, healthy eating habits, and the cultures representing the recipes they cook. Parents, to complete registration, please make sure that we are aware of any food allergies, texture avoiding issues that your children may have and other pertinent information.
After completing online form, please DOWNLOAD FORM, complete and include allergy information and any concerns we need to know about, and mail to New Era Creative Space (NECS), 1016 Brown Street, Peekskill NY 10566, or pay using the online form below.
