Taught by: Linda Mansdorf and Michael Sternberg

Linda Mansdorf and Michael Sternberg are a husband-wife team who met dancing over 25 years ago and have been dancing, performing and teaching since.  Linda’s parents met learning how to dance.  She grew up with a love of the foreign music and rhythms, and learned the dances at a young age.  She went on to perform with the George Tomov Yugoslav folkdance ensemble, traveling and performing in the former Yugoslavia as well as in the USA (Riverside Church, Lincoln Center and Symphony Space).  Mike has been dancing since his college days, when he saw young men performing a vigorous men’s dance.  He performed in an international folkdance ensemble and in a Hungarian dance troupe in Austin, Texas; and he performed in the Tomov troupe with Linda in NYC.   They enjoy sharing their love of ethnic dances with others and have taught in NYC and Peekskill.
