We are in search of artists who can substitute, teach and/or assist any of the following: drama, dance, music, art, poetry, animation, playwriting, design, photography, writing, directing, educational courses, leadership courses, sustainability, workshops, etc.



Full-time Program Coordinator 

The Program Coordinator is responsible for program operations and acts as the primary point of contact for program participants and teaching artists/instructors. Success in this position is evidenced by smooth-running programs with participants that have a positive experience. This role directly supports the mission of the organization and enables the Executive Director to focus on curriculum development, strategic partnerships, and community building.


Full-time Resident Artist 

The NEW ERA CREATIVE SPACE (NECS) Art-in-Education Residency (AIER)  is a new, salaried position for multidisciplinary artists interested in working with school students and the local community while creating their own work in NEC’S supportive and immersive environment. This is an opportunity for artists with a range of teaching experience, from seasoned teachers and professors, to those with minimal experience- at least two years- and an interest in gaining skills and knowledge.
We are also hiring teaching artists in the following areas for our afterschool programs:
  • Drama Therapy
  • Acting
  • Girls Empowerment 
  • Boys Empowerment
  • STEM
  • Art 
  • Photography
  • Filmmaking
(We are open to other related classes, workshops, and programs as long as it fits with our mission.)
