Carolina was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. Following her passion for the arts, she pursued a degree in Theatrical Acting from Universidad Central del Ecuador. While in Ecuador, she was actively involved in the theater scene, both as an actress and a producer. In 2015, she co-founded ‘La Azotea Teatro’ in collaboration with other artists.

Carolina co-directed, produced, and acted in various plays in Quito. She even published her play ‘Encontrados’ in the NYU Spanish magazine ‘Temporales’ and has written numerous plays and short-film scripts.

In addition to her work as a performer, she also worked as an art teacher in grade schools and directed theater clubs, working with children and teenagers.

In 2021, she made the move to the United States, settling in Peekskill with her husband and their puppy. Carolina joined the NECS team in August 2022.
