Rachel Wimpee is Assistant Director of Research & Education at the Rockefeller Archive Center, where she runs educational outreach and public engagement activities to bring history and archives into the present conversation. She has decades of digital publishing and humanities teaching experience, and is currently managing editor of RE:source, a website dedicated to bringing out stories about the history of philanthropy. Rachel holds an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in French and French Studies from New York University, with research interests in gender, cultural representation, and the role philanthropy plays in social change.
