2024 NECS Civil Rights Trip
This is an invite to participate in NECS’s summer Civil Rights Program that runs from April 1 -6 2024 in Alabama. The goals of the program are to:
- Dive into an electrifying journey of civil and human rights discovery.
- Feel the pulse of southern community living.
- Forge the future: develop your leadership superpowers.
- Build bridges in the tapestry of diversity through community and friendship.
- Craft your action plan for social justice based on experience.
To be considered for this trip, please complete the following form to the best of your ability. Following the application process, we will invite students to be interviewed, after which we will choose 7 participants to travel.
If chosen you will be required to provide at least 24 volunteer hours to NECS following the trip over the course of the 2024 – 2025 school year and be invited to join NECS’s youth advisory.
