This year, our director, Ridvan Foxhall was invited to Brian Lehrer’s show to receive the 2023 Lehrer Prize along with two other non-profit organizations. She got interviewed for her hard and constant work at NECS helping children and adolescents of our community.

This year’s theme: People and organizations who work in and around schools making an impact on the social and emotional well-being of the children in our area.

It is a great honor for the entire NECS team to receive this award. The recognition and constant collaboration of various members of the Peekskill community and its surroundings, motivates us to continue helping and carrying out our work.
